Large and Small Scale Water Treatment
Supply Treatment and Discharge Treatment Facilities
There are two main types of water treatment plants. Those that treat the fresh water prior to the distribution into the private or municipal water supply and those that treat the waste water that is collected from the private or municipal sewer systems and treated prior to release.
Fresh Water Treatment
These facilities often monitor, treat and store fresh water or potable water for the general publics consumption. Although Arrowsmith does not get involved in the process design, the constructability and construction thereof is what we do.
We have constructed systems that draw from man-made storage ponds and dams and have also constructed smaller systems that draw directly from a fast running source.
Waste Water Treatment
These facilities capture, store and settle out solids and then treat the waste water in such a way that it can be released and introduced back into the water supply system or discharged into a fish bearing fresh water body or salt water body.
Although Arrowsmith does not get involved in the process design, the constructability and construction thereof is another kind of project that Arrowsmith has experience building.
